There's a baby in my belly and I am barefoot! :) Only way to be!

Connor Steven- Due June 13th. But will be here around the 6th to the 8th of June! Can't wait to meet him!

My OB appointment today was a good one! I am staying in El Paso for the remainder of my pregnancy! I was going to stay with my in laws if I failed some of my testing... The boys and I are here to stay! So excited to start shopping for baby- I have so many things to get, it's like this is my 1st born all over again! We weren't wanting any more babies, but here we are, 20 weeks- healthy- happy and looking forward to June!! I am cloth diapering this time around. I am very excited about it too!!! My neighbors are giving me their portable wooden crib for me to keep beside my bed! What a blessing! My mom ordered the baby's crib set today too! I am so blessed. And if God chooses to let this little guy come into the world, I will be ever so grateful. I am so thankful for my family!

Yeah, it's one of those days. He makes me laugh, he has caused me to cry, he is the love of my life, and without him, I doubt I could get by. I love this guy. He is a wonderful husband to me and a great daddy to his boys. He even talks to the baby :) He is definitely a keeper! I look forward to our baby coming and us getting to meet baby! I look forward to hugging him and telling him to his face how much I love him.

Well, I am 2 days from19 weeks, smaller in the belly than I was with my previous pregnancies, and so excited to find out the gender! NEXT WEEK!!!! NEXT WEEK I find out! I got the baby's room cleaned up (it was the toy room) and sold some toys :) yay! Bought this crib, wipe warmer, and changing table from a fellow Army wife :) We have this, the baby carrier, the car seat, my pump, boppy, wipe warmer and an outfit.. So much more to get! We are going to put Blake in a twin size bed so that baby can have the mattress. It's one of the things all 3 kiddos will get a lot of use out of! I am so glad to be in my 2nd trimester and feeling so much better! Morning sickness is gone! Now I am having some weird leg pain and constipation. This baby is already showing off some.. Baby enjoys kicking and moving around in the afternoon the most, kicks when I cuddle Blake :), and likes to kick when baby hears Daddy's voice on Skype! Looking forward to June oh so much! I can't wait to meet baby and have Daddy see baby too!

Finally found the perfect way to tell Daddy the gender, and how to post it online for everyone else! On a serious note, the doctors wonder if I will have pre clampsia issues like I did with Jonny. And with the danger of another seizure, I had to do extra tests. My appointment is on the 24th and I look forward to finding out what the doctor says!! Praying that mommy and baby stay healthy the whole time!! And as soon as I find out the gender, I will begin decorating the room!!! So fun!

I have lived at Fort Bliss since April. Two months later, at the end of June, I decided that I wanted to become a Creative Memories consultant. I was very nervous and scared. I didn't know too many people, and I was worried that I would not find too many people that liked to scrap book or they were taken by another consultant. Well, Sunday night, I received a call from a lady that wanted to get connected with me. She found me on the Creative Memories website. I am the only one here!! I have obtained a few customers in the short time we have been here, and I am doing my best to make my name known. Facebook, Twitter, and Home Bussiness shows are my friends. This is my site... The link above. I saw some Christmas Cards from Shutterfly in the mail. I checked them out online and was amazed. I love the selection, the vivid colors and the ability to put more than just one perfect picture :) I would show you my card I have chosen and have already edited... But, I want it to be a surprise. I just bought over a hundred 4x6's through them and made my first photo book!!! It's for the boys for Christmas! I am so excited!! Daddy, We love and miss you so much. I am trying to call you on my Buzz Lightyear phone but you won't answer. I guess you are busy at work. Mommy showed me pictures of you on the computer. Your clothes matched everyone's! I keep asking Mommy if you are coming home now. She says we get to come see you! I can't wait. I miss playing with you. Blake is okay to play with but you are lots of fun. Mommy won't let me ride on her back, she says it hurts. Can I ride on yours when you get home. I need you to fix some things too when you get back. Mommy needs to give me more milk. Blakey needs to stop playing with my toys. And I should be able to eat candy all the time. Just fix those things and life will be good. Oh, and make Blakey stop drooling. Thank you, Daddy. Oh, and Mommy lets me eat a kiss a day. Until we see you. But I got to them and ate 5 days worth. In 2 days I will get another "Kiss from Daddy." If these kisses are from you as Mommy says, can you tell her to let me eat them all?? I love you, Daddy. Oh, Blakey and Mommy do too. Have fun!

My new life

I have not been able to pick up my military ID, so I do not consider myself an Army wife yet :) But Jonathan is gone, and has been for going on 3 weeks now. I am doing well with this :) The kids are helping, my constant desire to shake some sense into Jonny and spank Blake until he doesn't touch another breakable item- well it keeps me busy :) Jonathan has sent 4 letters so far, it's better than when we were dating. He also gave a card to Steph to give to me, so I can count that too. I wrote him and told him to stay there forever if it means I can keep getting letters and cards. I need to frame them :) As proof that miracles do happen. He is doing all kinds of neat things, jumping off of high places, enduring obstacle courses, smelling in the scents of the gas chamber. Oh and sleeping outdoors. I have faced some basic training myself- 3 stage bedtime obstacle- 1. get Jonny to bed 2. get him to stay there 3. kick him out of my bed. Then there's the diaper chamber- It's the smell from a child you can smell across the room and you begin to gag as you close in on the little guy. There's also the BATHROOM. Where one child poops in the tub, the other somehow FLIPS out of the tub, and I, Mommy, am attempting to gain some sense of order. I can't imagine being a single mom. Kudos to you women who do it everyday- for years on end. My heart goes out to you. So in the midst of organizing life, unpacking, and waiting for the blessed phone call.. I say to myself- Thank you God.. For my Bathroom moments- great stories and healthy active children. For my diaper moments- hey, they're regular :) For my bed time moments- I have a child who loves his mommy so much. And for my husband's basic training moments- I thank God for a man who is willing to do all he can to support his family and honor his country as well. I love my "new" life and all the hidden blessings it brings!

That's not a typo in the title, to Jonny, that is Baby Bake, or Bakey. Our baby of the family came to meet all of us November 4, 2009. He is almost 1 and I am still wondering where the time went. Blakey loves to smile and makes others follow into the grin look. He loves to crawl and cruise around furniture. He will take a few steps and will stand all alone. He loves to hear his Blakey Song and enjoys being held. He can be a risk taker (he climbs the stairs alone) and loves to eat- EVERYTHING. He is Mama's baby, Blakey poo, and the Blakeanator :)

He is so full of life and enjoys playtime. He loves to tease his daddy and love on his mommy. He uses his manners and prays. He loves to think everything is "his" and "mine." We traveled to Ohio on Friday to spend some time with my in laws. They got a new camper and we just had to see it :) Actually, we were very excited to see them. Especially Jonny. He whined for Bunchen the last few minutes. Her name is Nana, but she tells the grandkids- I love you BIG BUNCHES. So Jonny named her Bunchen. lol Paul became "Dadu Paul" over the weekend and it is a hit and miss of when he addresses him that way :) Today was our Robbins family reunion. We were there for most of it and enjoyed ourselves. We left there and went to see Grandpa and Grandma Covert.. My batteries on the camera died or I would have taken pictures of our special people in Mt. Orab :) The reunion has a theme every year, and this year it was safari. The boys dressed up and got gift cards for their participation :) Yay, diapers :) Jonny got a lot of candy ( a mini Halloween if you ask me) and Jon and I stunk so bad at corn hole it was embarrassing. Even for family to see. :( Made it to the final 3 in a water balloon toss and Jonny enjoyed wayy too many m&m's :) Soooo much fun :)

Well, I think it has been way too long since I have even blogged... Sad to say.. I have been looking at others blogs and decided I should get back into it. So here I am... I haven't posted since I was pregnant with Blake and now he is almost 10 months old... WOW... Our life is semi-normal right now. We live in Elizabethtown, KY now and we love it down here. Love our friends and our church and so on and so on.. Our boys are growing well :) Jonny will be 3 in December and Blake will be 1 in November. Jonathan leaves in October for basic and it has just hit me 2 days ago... We have had some wonderful visitors this past month.. I just realized that it is Sept. 1st!!! Jon and Nella and Katelynn Thompson came down one weekend, we met lil Daniel in Louisville the next, my bio mom came down the next, and my mom and dad came last weekend :) Needless to say it has been a busy month.. Now it is September... Time to make invites for Blake's party, take family pictures, go to our family reunion, enjoy church services, do MOPS, walk in the Walk for Life, and play dates :) Time flies so fast... God help me to cherish every moment and let the petty stuff pass :) God bless and happy September!!

I went to the doctor today and we decided to go for a scheduled c-section. Due to my baby's ever growing size and the fact that I want little complications as possible with this baby, we decided this was the best way to go. I have another ultrasound next week due to me measuring 4 weeks ahead. It's so weird to think that if this was Jonny, I would be having him next week! This time last pregnancy I had elephantitis in my ankles. Or shall I say cankles (cow ankles). I feel better and my blood pressure is down. Now if only my lower back would stop hurting and I could sleep more. But no pregnancy is comfortable so I am doing good. The baby is healthy and so am I. So far I have gained 6 pounds. And four of them was today's visit (grr). Praising Jesus that all is well and praying Blake comes safely into the world!

I absolutely love this pic! I came out to see what the boys were doing, and Seth had grabbed his pirate gear and dressed them both up like pirates!! I laughed so hard as I went to grab my camera!! This is so cute!

We had such a great day!! First, Tasha called me to tell me about a store that was having amazing sales. Erica had bought shoes for her son and Tash thought I'd be interested. Indeed, I was. Well, mom, the boys, and I travelled to this store. We saw some amazing sales. One was this duo stroller!! I was wanting one like this, because I'd been researching strollers, and here it was!! On sale!! I bought it for $111!! It was 140. SO after my nap when I was home, I put the stroller together. Jonny kept trying to push it around while I was still adding the attachments! He really enjoyed it. While I was doing this, my darling husband was putting in the shelves in our linen closet. Mind you, they have been there for almost a year with a post-it note that read "hang me" attached. (I really think the NOTE had dust on it) Anyways, he finally tackled the job and now I have shelves, not huge "please cut me" shelves that stand in my way and dominate the bathroom! Now one can move as freely as they so desire. He even changed the light bulbs!! He's amazing!!

Saying that Jonathan loves to play outside, is well, an understatement. He loves being outside! Seth and Sarah Stevens (who are many years older than him) love playing with him too. He had so much fun in that sand and made a huge mess! Later, I gave him a ride around in the wagon. Mr. independent wanted to push himself in the wagon, but soon learned that it was impossible. When I finally was able to bring him indoors, he took a very long nap. I guess playing is hard work..

Baby number 2 is on the way. Actually I'm about 2 months along so it will be a long time till the baby comes. We are so excited and trying to explain it to Jonny but he is so not getting it.. (i wonder why) :) We are praying that all goes well. Right now I have the common fears of losing the baby and having the same problems from the last pregnancy. Oh, by the way, the stuff on the couch is from a trip we just got back from, my sister's wedding. :) I felt that I needed to explain the slight clutter. Especially for my in-laws :)

You can tell that Jonathan HATES being held like this and definitely does not being smushed between us. Jonathan is growing amazingly fast. He started walking before his birthday, but during Christmas break, like December 20th and on, he's been walking full time! Mysteriously enough, more things are ending up broken around my house. He's climbing stairs (see Jackie's blog) and he's enjoying the more independent lifestyle. Before I know it he will be moving out of the house. :) He's fun though... oh! He has finally said "dada" :) Previous to dada his total words have been: mama, nana, baba, bubba, hi, and bye bye.

These were the pics that we put on the Christmas cards that we mailed out. Just wanted everyone to see them. Speaking of Christmas, does anyone else feel all bah humbug about the holiday? Did you just MAKE yourself put up the tree? Did you dread the shopping? Did licking the envelopes make you CRINGE!?! (okay..that's any time of the year) But all this Christmas hub lub has me down right unhappy. Christmas has become so commercialized and all that I'm so sick of why the world celebrates the season! I told Jonathan last night that it wouldn't bother me one bit if I never, I mean NEVER heard "Santa Baby" again. I'm so tired of Santa, elves, reindeer, and Happy Holidays that I'm about to make my own Christmas Day. (Maybe in August, since there's no holidays there) I miss every thing being about Jesus. My goodness, I even saw a church on my way to school that advertised a BREAKFAST WITH SANTA!! A CHURCH! God help us to keep our focus off the rush and on the baby born over 2,ooo years ago. (OK, I'm now stepping off my soap box) :) Merry Christmas!

We had to take our cousin Daniel home, so we couldn't miss coming to Nana and Dadu's house! Jonathan loved spending time with his cousins and they sure enjoyed him! Jonathan is getting so big! He has 4 and 1/2 teeth, he is cruising and he took two steps yesterday! All by himself! He also said his first word last Saturday... "mama" :) Needless to say, I was so excited. Saying that he is into everything is an understatement. Oh, here's a story for the books- we were on the couch and baby Jonathan was crawling around. We forgot to throw a diaper away and it was sitting on his bedroom floor. He found the diaper, opened it up, and smeared poop on the floor. He was quiet so we went to grab him.. Wow, here's our son, poop on his hands, and a smile on his face- gross! Thank the Lord that he didn't eat it... Anyways, he is a great baby and growing great! Poopy hands and all, he's easy to love!

It is hard to believe that the time is about here! It's baby Jonathan's birthday! We are having his party a few days early because of the busy season. (note: sticker is there to cover the numbers) I had so much fun making these invitations. His party theme is "Red Ball" that's why his invitation is shaped that way :) Everyone attending is to wear red and we are having the fellowship decorated in red and white. I think I am more excited about Jonathan's 1st birthday than he is!!

Finally, a post! I have had some technical setbacks. And Constance, I really was planning on posting during Youth Challenge but I had my mom's laptop that froze wonderfully. Not only is baby Jonathan's tooth coming through, but so are many other things. First, his personality is coming through loud and clear. He is so funny! He will copy you, fake cough, cry until you look ( and then smile), he loves to shake things and throw them too. He can get upset too, when you don't do it right away you will hear about it! Next, his size is showing. His mean ol' mommy tried to sqeeze him into a cute outfit just because it's cute. Well, he cried and I yanked and when it came off, I vowed not to put it on him again. It still hangs in the closet where I longingly look at it and wish it was bigger. He also is acting like a big boy. Yesterday, he was sitting up, he got into a crawling position and then pulled himself up using the couch. I was cheering and kissing and he probably won't do it again just to save himself from my actions being repeated. He hasn't figured out crawling yet. He will get into the position and sway but not MOVE! Sunday, he was working on it though. He was in the crawling pose, moved this knees forward but not his hands. It resulted in baby Jonathan going head first into the carpet. If only he could figure out that he needs to move them simutaniously. Oh well, I am repeatedly told that when he starts I would have wished he wouldn't have. But oh how I wish he could just get to some of the toys he wanted on his own. But once he starts crawling, he'll get new toys- like mommy and daddy's shoes, picture frames, and items that scream "chew and choke." Oh well, guess it comes with the territory. I love being baby Jonathan's mommy. Wonder if he likes being my son?!? Hmm...

Life has been very busy. Apologies for not blogging sooner, we don't have the internet at home- trying to get it all figured out... But I haven't had time to blog anyways. I hear from some that I need to do it, so here I am, in my classroom- blogging. This picture is Jonny at Jen and Chris Yaney's home in Kentucky. He absolutely loved Jen and spending the weekend with her. Jonathan has been busy with his business and Baby Jonathan. I'm teaching part time at UBA and loving on baby. :)

This is our FIRST family picture together!! We felt like we should get one done, and with Jonathan's work schedule, it seemed like our baby was going to have babies of his own by the time Jonathan worked it in. But alas, it happened, and we were pleased. Great things have been happening in our family, baby Jonathan, is eating baby foods-- he HATES, utterly LOATHES peas, but chows down on the sweet potatoes. He rolled over April 28th. And at the beginning of May he showed his rolling skills by rolling off the bed.. His dare devil stunt put a bruise by his eye, cut his foot, and a scrape on his head... Needless to say, I was scared.. He was crying when we raced in the room and I screamed, "Where did he go?!" Jonathan still makes fun of me for my dumb comment. We had other parenting "issues" too. Like a son who HATES his pacifier and LOVES his thumb. So Janella told me to put socks on his hands when he goes to sleep. Her mom did it for her (like a week ago...lol) and it made her stop when she kept sucking on sock.. Well, we tried it, and in the morning-- Jonny had wiggled BOTH socks off and had his thumb in his mouth. Absolutely CRAZY!! We love our little guy, and he knows it too. Sometimes, when he is in his jumperoo, he cries and cries, we walk over to him to pick him up, and he stops and smiles.... stinker... And this is only the beginning..... I can't wait to see how this baby is going to be as he gets older!!!!

Time in Tennessee

For some reason, the pics are not loading very well... But as soon as they do, they will be posted. We have been having a blast here.. Jonathan, me, and baby Jonny are here with Grandma & Grandpa Robbins, The O Donnells, Daniel Robbins family, and Grandma Hig. It has been so much fun. We travelled down Thursday, and went to Dixie Stampede that evening. Friday, Daniel, lil Daniel, Jonathan and I went to Ober Gatlinburg to go ice skating. It was great until the guys got kicked off the ice because they were speed skating.. If only they would be as good as me..... Then, that evening we went to The Comedy Barn with Greg, Anna, the kids and Dracinda. It was hilarious. We got baby Jonathan a horse dressed up like a cowboy.. We got to build it. Then today- Saturday- we went to Cades Cove, it was really neat.. Sunday is church and Monday we are going to DollyWood before we head back for Indiana... Pics to come. :)

Supper with Pete and Liz

Jonathan and I were invited to Pete and Liz's house for dinner. We absolutely had a blast. I almost DIED when we played Mad Gab because Pete and I royally stink... Jonathan and Liz did rather well. But Pete and I could show them up when we played racing on his Playstation 3. It was a great time, great food, and we even had chocolate!!!

My son is so cute, that when he goes to a UBC choir service, the girls flock to the room where he is, they want to be with him and fight over his time. They want to be with him so bad. I guess it has to do with him also being 3 months old too... Here's Lestie and Janelle taking care of Jonny with some feeding and spoiling time. And all the way back from Petersburg, IN, he wanted to be held. He's spoiled.

Trip to southern Indiana

A Visit from Nana and Dadu

Paul and Dorine A.K.A. Dadu and Nana, came to help us move and watch Jonathan- the baby, not the daddy- which they should have probably watched him too, he needs some watching... Anyways, they helped us get all of our junk out of the other place. I DIDN'T take pictures because we looked like the Beverly Hillbillies moving 7 minutes away. My father in law said I look like my family, and that's bad seeing how much junk my mom has!! (I love my mom). So, everything is about done (thanks to Paul and Dorine, ask Jonathan Thompson- that's all he talked about, all the work THEY were doing.)

We have been looking forward to good weather for like EVER.. Well, Bro. Stevens has been bragging about how well he cooks steaks (and he deserves all bragging rights- they were PHENOMENAL) Well we had good weather for steaks and it lasted long enough for us to get inside before the rain came down. We had a good time and Jonathan enjoyed his first time out in the stroller. Until his dad started pushing the stroller while riding his bike.. Then baby Jonny started crying. Seth and Sarah really enjoyed baby Jonathan and finally were allowed to hold him! (Guess I am kinda protective).

Jonathan and Janella are going to be celebrating their 5th year anniversary. We gave them their gift a little early because I was so excited.. Jonathan and I absolutely LOVE Jonathan and Janella. Also known as Aunt Nella and Uncle Jon by lil' Jonathan. :) They are some of our dearest friends and are practically family to us. Actually Nella's bro married my sis, so what does that make us?? Do I get to call Sis. Hilligoss- "auntie"??? :) Hey!! That makes me almost related to the Collingsworth family!!! Anyways... about Jonathan and Janella.... we love them and wish them many more years of happiness!!

Goodwill Goodies

Jonathan and I have been working hard on moving.. And what a time it has been!! I have never had to do it on my own before, I have moved with my family and it has been a trial. Now we have to find boxes, tape, scissors, and we never have enough newspaper for packing the breakables. I don't know if I am obsessive but it seems like I put "fragile" on every box. Jonathan thinks I am horrible because I seem to pack everything that he needs. He complains constantly- and tells others too. Christopher and Jennifer Yaney came over Sunday night, he took off his tie and informed me not to pack it because it was his. Hardy har har. Jonathan had a cow the other day-- I packed lots of lil' Jonathan's stuff and one of the things was his diapers. They are size 1's and I thought we would be fine, well I thought wrong. We went out for Valentine's Day and had a heated discussion about buying some diapers and he was like, "who packs diapers!?" Well, I did.. Anyways, we bought new diapers. Well, then I decided to clear out the junk in our house. Here are the results... And the sad thing is: there's more to come... We have been married for a little over a year and I am still trying to figure out how in the world we acquired SO much stuff. It took three to unload it all, and we decided to get a receipt for the first time... It was nice to get rid of stuff and give some things back to Goodwill too. :)

I love taking pictures of Jonathan and our little boy. After work everyday, he grabs lil' Jonathan, lays down on the couch, and they fall asleep together. It's so cute. The other pictures are of the Jonathans on a Sunday. It was his first time getting all decked out. I HAD to take pictures.

A Mall Outing

Tasha wanted to get her hair straightened by this guy. It was an awesome straightener!!

Now, here he is trying to sell it to her. And he brings ME into the sales pitch. Yes, two wonderful straighteners for only 200 DOLLARS.. We hardly could pass up the deal (yeah right) but claimed we had to talk to our husbands before such a purchase. This guy didn't think it was that much!!

We HAD to try on glasses and hats at Charolette Russe, it was so much fun.

Fun and games end when you get in trouble... After our pics, the store manager came to us and told us that we can't take pictures in the store. Yeah, like I was going right home to make my own designs of their glasses to put on the black market...

Here I am trying my hand at photography. I'm definitely no Brenda Herring, but I know how to push the button to make it flash. I think I am better than what Helen Keller would be with a camera. :)

Picture two: Jonathan held Jonny for this pic. We had a plan too.. Hold the pacifier in his mouth, say "now," pull pacifier out, and snap picture. It seemed to work very well.

I tried some more later. As you can see, I wasn't as successful with this picture. Jonathan thinks I am horrible, but I think it is cute when babies cry. It's sad when the real tears come though. In this picture, Jonny decided that lying down was not too good of an idea...

Newbie Blogger

I have NEVER done a blog before, but I thought after looking at Janella's quite a bit, I could give this a try.. I am not a consistent person when it comes to journaling, but I have high hopes for this... when I have the opportunity to get online, or on the computer for that matter.. Also, this may help with my mother-in-law, who continually is looking at blogs, keep up with her family. I have a rather abnormal life and I think I will like journaling it.

For example: Janella and I are both on the internet, at her house,

on laptops, and on the couch. It also happens to be going on 3 am.

Yes, I am abnormal. And yet- what is normal??
